Everything was fantastic, including great staff and unbeatable location to the local river. Our superior king room had central heating, a seating area, and a study table. The breakfast was delicious, there was plenty of food to chose from. Liked this characterful hotel, do recommend.

The top room was mind-blowingly comfortable and spacious with super comfy beds and amazing linens. The bathroom was great and had a window for natural light. The dinner at the table d'hôtes was jaw-droppingly delicious and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning countryside and charming villages. We also loved the large garden and the fact that there was free parking. a fantastic stay in a peaceful and beautiful setting. We will definitely come back one day on our travels.

The general areas of the hotel are very accessible for senior people, with wide hallways and comfortable seating areas where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. The staff are always ready to assist and make sure you have everything you need during your stay.

I would have loved to have more activities specifically designed for senior people, such as gentle yoga or guided walks in the surrounding countryside. It would be wonderful to have more options to keep us active and engaged during our vacation.
